Today is Presidents Day. A holiday designed to commemorate the men who have led our country through good times and bad, through peace and prosperity, through war and want.  Some of these men are revered and held in a high place of honor in our history. Others, of a more recent version, are cast as villians, crooks or buffoons and their place in history will be designated in less salutatory terms.  Whether revered as a savior or a sinner each man brought a tone and tenor to the times and for each there is a specific niche in history devoted to their administration.  Serving as leader of the free world is a task that should not be taken lightly. Those of us who labor in obscurity far from the tumult and furor of national politics are often touched by their decisions we will never know many of the terrific obstacles they faced.  My greatest hope is that each man awakes every day with the idea that while he is only one man his opportunity to shape history and the country's destiny are inextricably intertwined.  Happy Birthday, Mr. President, whomever you are!
